Which mattress should you choose? Find your ideal comfort with SENHO.

Quel matelas choisir ? Trouvez votre confort idéal avec SENHO

Choosing a mattress is about more than just price or thickness.

The right model should suit your bed type, body shape, preferred comfort level and sleeping position. Your choice may also differ depending on whether you sleep alone or with a partner.

The SENHO mattress range includes three complementary models:

  • NIMBUS: GOOD, a slim foam mattress offering the firmest support in the range, particularly suitable for beds requiring a lower mattress profile;
  • THENEST: BETTER, a 25 cm mattress combining pocket springs and comfort foams to provide a balanced initial feel and firm support;
  • LASUITE: BEST, a premium 35 cm mattress combining 3-zone pocket springs with an integrated 5 cm topper for an especially soft, enveloping feel inspired by premium hotel bedding.

The three models differ in their initial feel, support, technology, thickness, weight capacity and construction. PLUME completes the range as a separate mattress topper designed to add a softer surface feel to an existing mattress.

* For PLUME, the support rating describes the topper itself. The support of the complete sleep system depends on the mattress and bed base underneath, so it does not automatically become 2 out of 5.

How should you read our comfort scale?

Our scale runs from 1 to 5. The higher the rating, the firmer the feel:

  • 1: very soft — extra soft;
  • 2: soft;
  • 3: balanced — medium;
  • 4: firm;
  • 5: very firm — extra firm.

The initial feel describes the first sensation you experience when lying down on the mattress.

Support describes how the mattress holds and supports your body beneath the comfort layers.

NIMBUS provides the firmest initial feel and support of the three mattresses. THENEST combines a balanced feel with firm support. LASUITE offers a noticeably softer initial feel, thanks in particular to its integrated 5 cm topper, while maintaining support between balanced and firm.

These ratings describe perceived firmness rather than product quality. They are the same for the sizes listed within each range. The actual feel may vary depending on body shape, sleeping position and the bed base used.

SENHO NIMBUS mattress

NIMBUS: a slim mattress with particularly firm support

NIMBUS is the GOOD option in the SENHO range.

At just 15 cm thick, it was developed for beds requiring a relatively low-profile mattress without sacrificing stable support.

NIMBUS90 and NIMBUS140 provide an initial feel of 3.5 out of 5, between balanced and firm, and support of 4.5 out of 5, between firm and very firm.

The maximum supported weight is 100 kg for NIMBUS90 and 200 kg for NIMBUS140.

This lower height is particularly useful for compatible loft and bunk beds. With this type of furniture, mattress thickness directly affects the usable height of the safety rails.

A mattress that is too thick can reduce the distance between the top of the mattress and the top of the safety barrier. Always follow the maximum mattress thickness specified in the bed instructions.

35 kg/m³ high-density polyurethane foam

The core of the NIMBUS mattress is made from high-density polyurethane foam with a density of 35 kg/m³.

This foam creates a stable and responsive base. It helps distribute body weight across the mattress surface and provides even support throughout the night.

With support rated at 4.5 out of 5, NIMBUS is the firmest-supporting mattress in the range.

A layer of gel memory foam

NIMBUS also includes a layer of gel memory foam with a density of 38 kg/m³.

The memory foam gradually adapts to the contours of the body and helps distribute pressure points, particularly around the shoulders and hips.

The added gel is designed to help dissipate heat within the comfort layer and reduce the feeling of heat build-up sometimes associated with traditional memory foam.

The result is an initial feel between balanced and firm, which remains more responsive than THENEST and LASUITE.

Which NIMBUS mattress should you choose for a SENHO loft bed?

NIMBUS is available in sizes suited to SENHO's main raised-bed models.

NIMBUS90 for single beds +

The NIMBUS90 mattress, measuring 90 × 190 cm, is particularly suitable for the following single loft and bunk beds:

  • BROS;
  • DINO;
  • ROZE.

Its 15 cm height helps keep the overall sleeping surface low, provided that the dimensions and maximum mattress height specified in the bed instructions are respected.

Its initial feel is rated at 3.5 out of 5 and its support at 4.5 out of 5. Its maximum supported weight is 100 kg.

NIMBUS140 for double loft beds +

The NIMBUS140 mattress, measuring 140 × 190 cm, complements the following SENHO double loft beds:

  • MONTANA;
  • DOCKLAND.

It allows these beds to be fitted with a low-profile mattress offering firm support, provided the bed instructions are followed.

Like NIMBUS90, it has an initial feel of 3.5 out of 5 and support of 4.5 out of 5. Its maximum supported weight is 200 kg.

Can NIMBUS be used on a standard bed?

Yes. NIMBUS is not reserved for loft beds.

It can also be used on a compatible low bed or standard bed base by people looking for:

  • particularly firm support;
  • an initial feel between balanced and firm;
  • a low-profile mattress;
  • a practical sleeping solution for a child’s, teenager’s or guest bedroom;
  • an all-foam mattress that works with different types of beds.

Who is NIMBUS suitable for?

NIMBUS may be a suitable choice if you:

  • need a slim mattress for a compatible loft or bunk bed;
  • prefer an initial feel between balanced and firm combined with firmer support;
  • want an all-foam mattress;
  • do not need a pocket-spring system;
  • want stable support for everyday or occasional use;
  • want to keep the overall sleeping height low.

SENHO THENEST mattress

THENEST: a balanced initial feel with firm support

THENEST is the BETTER option in the SENHO range.

At 25 cm thick, it combines a pocket-spring core with several layers of comfort foam.

Unlike LASUITE, THENEST does not include an integrated topper. Its construction is designed to provide a balanced initial feel combined with firmer support.

THENEST140 and THENEST160 provide a balanced initial feel of 3 out of 5 and firm support of 4 out of 5.

The maximum supported weight is 240 kg for both THENEST140 and THENEST160.

Its initial feel is slightly softer than NIMBUS while maintaining firm support. It is designed for sleepers looking for a thicker, more progressive mattress that is also well suited to couples.

A 20 cm pocket-spring core

The heart of the THENEST mattress consists of a 20 cm pocket-spring system.

Each spring is individually wrapped, allowing it to respond more independently to pressure in its specific area.

This technology offers two main benefits:

  • it allows the mattress to respond to different pressure points across the body;
  • it helps limit the transfer of movement from one side of the bed to the other.

Good motion isolation for couples

Motion isolation refers to a mattress's ability to absorb the movements of each sleeper.

When one person changes position, gets up or lies back down, the pocket springs help limit the movement felt by the other person.

THENEST is therefore particularly suitable for couples who:

  • go to bed at different times;
  • move frequently during sleep;
  • have different body shapes or weights;
  • want support that responds locally to pressure points.

Multi-layer comfort foams

Above the springs, THENEST combines several comfort foams with densities ranging from 18 to 24 kg/m³.

These layers create a progressive transition between the mattress surface and the firmer pocket-spring core.

The construction aims to balance:

  • surface softness;
  • pressure-point cushioning;
  • stability;
  • body support;
  • ease of movement during the night.

With an initial feel rated at 3 out of 5, THENEST provides balanced comfort between the more responsive NIMBUS and the much softer LASUITE.

Who is THENEST suitable for?

THENEST may be the right choice if you:

  • sleep with a partner;
  • want good motion isolation;
  • like the responsiveness of pocket springs;
  • want a thicker mattress than NIMBUS;
  • prefer a balanced initial feel;
  • want firm support beneath softer comfort layers.

SENHO LASUITE mattress

LASUITE: a very soft feel inspired by premium hotel beds

LASUITE is the BEST option and the thickest mattress in the SENHO range.

At 35 cm thick, it was designed to provide a deep, soft and enveloping feel inspired by premium hotel bedding.

Unlike NIMBUS90, NIMBUS140, THENEST140 and THENEST160, the LASUITE160 and LASUITE180 mattresses feature an integrated 5 cm topper built directly into their construction.

This integrated topper contains memory foam and gel memory foam, among other materials. It provides a soft, enveloping initial feel, gradually follows the contours of the body and helps distribute pressure points more evenly.

This extra comfort layer plays a major role in LASUITE's deeper, softer feel, while the 3-zone pocket-spring core underneath provides support at a deeper level.

LASUITE160 and LASUITE180 therefore offer an initial feel of 1.5 out of 5, between very soft and soft, and support of 3.5 out of 5, between balanced and firm.

The maximum supported weight is 280 kg for both LASUITE160 and LASUITE180.

LASUITE combines:

  • a 3-zone pocket-spring system;
  • an integrated 5 cm topper containing memory foam and gel memory foam;
  • several layers of high-density comfort foam;
  • a soft, breathable cover;
  • reinforced edges.

An integrated 5 cm topper for a more enveloping feel

The integrated topper is one of the main differences between LASUITE and the NIMBUS and THENEST mattresses.

At 5 cm thick, it adds a substantial comfort layer above the main mattress structure.

It includes memory foam and gel memory foam, among other materials. These materials gradually adapt to the body's contours and help distribute pressure points over a wider area.

This construction gives LASUITE its especially soft and enveloping initial feel, rated at 1.5 out of 5 on the SENHO comfort scale.

The topper is built directly into the mattress. It is not a separate accessory that can be added or removed.

25 cm 3-zone pocket springs

Beneath the comfort layers, LASUITE features a 25 cm pocket-spring core divided into three support zones.

These zones allow the mattress to respond differently to key areas of the body, including:

  • shoulders;
  • hips;
  • legs.

The aim is to provide targeted support while maintaining a stable core beneath the very soft integrated topper.

As with THENEST, each spring is individually pocketed. This technology promotes good motion isolation and helps limit the transfer of movement between the two sides of the bed.

Memory foams to help distribute pressure points

LASUITE combines several comfort layers, including memory foam and gel memory foam.

Memory foam gradually follows the contours of the body and helps distribute pressure over a wider surface area.

This construction directly contributes to the softest initial feel of all three SENHO mattresses.

The gel is designed to help dissipate heat within the comfort layers.

Multi-layer high-density comfort foams

LASUITE uses several complementary foam layers between the surface and the spring core.

This multi-layer construction creates progressive comfort.

The integrated topper first receives the body softly. The intermediate layers then manage deeper compression, while the spring system helps provide overall support.

This combination provides:

  • an initial feel of 1.5 out of 5, between very soft and soft;
  • support of 3.5 out of 5, between balanced and firm;
  • progressive adaptation to the body's contours;
  • better distribution of pressure points;
  • an enveloping sleep feel.

A soft, breathable bamboo-based cover

LASUITE is covered with a fabric containing bamboo-derived fibres, selected for its softness and breathability.

This cover complements the different comfort layers and helps create a pleasant surface feel.

Its breathability also contributes to the overall temperature comfort of the mattress.

Reinforced edges for greater stability

The edges of the LASUITE mattress are reinforced.

This structure helps improve stability when sitting or sleeping close to the edge.

The reinforced edges also help to:

  • maximise the usable sleeping surface;
  • make getting in and out of bed easier;
  • limit compression along the sides;
  • maintain a more consistent feel across the width of the mattress.

Premium 35 cm thickness

At 35 cm, LASUITE is significantly thicker than NIMBUS and THENEST.

This generous height includes a 25 cm pocket-spring core, an integrated 5 cm comfort topper and additional complementary layers.

It also gives the bed a more substantial appearance inspired by premium hotel bedding.

A mattress of this thickness should be paired with a compatible bed frame and bed base. Also check the overall sleeping height to make sure getting in and out of bed remains comfortable.

Who is LASUITE suitable for?

LASUITE may be the right choice if you:

  • want a very soft and enveloping initial feel;
  • want the comfort of an integrated 5 cm topper;
  • want a sleep experience inspired by premium hotels;
  • sleep with a partner and value motion isolation;
  • prefer support between balanced and firm, less firm than NIMBUS or THENEST;
  • like thick, generously constructed mattresses;
  • want several progressive comfort layers.

PLUME: a mattress topper for a softer initial feel

PLUME is designed to complement an existing mattress and change the feel of its surface. It does not replace a mattress.

Unlike the integrated topper in LASUITE, PLUME is a separate mattress topper that is placed on top of an existing mattress.

PLUME90, PLUME140 and PLUME160 all have the same ratings: initial feel 2 out of 5 and support 2 out of 5, corresponding to a soft feel on our scale.

Making the surface feel softer

PLUME may be suitable if you want to add more softness to your bed while keeping your existing mattress.

The final feel depends on the combination of the topper, mattress and bed base. Their ratings are neither added together nor averaged.

For example, adding PLUME to NIMBUS can soften the initial surface feel, but it does not automatically change the support of the complete sleep system to 2 out of 5.

Who is the PLUME topper suitable for?

PLUME may be a suitable choice if you:

  • find the surface of your mattress too firm;
  • want to add a soft comfort layer;
  • want to keep a mattress that is still in good condition;
  • want additional comfort rather than a new mattress.

A topper cannot correct a mattress that is sagging or worn out.

On a loft or bunk bed, make sure the combined thickness of the mattress and topper remains within the maximum height specified in the bed instructions.

How should you choose your sleep comfort?

Which SENHO mattress is the firmest?

NIMBUS has both the firmest initial feel and the firmest support of the three SENHO mattresses.

The initial-feel ratings are:

  • NIMBUS: 3.5 out of 5;
  • THENEST: 3 out of 5;
  • LASUITE: 1.5 out of 5.

The support ratings also differ:

  • NIMBUS: 4.5 out of 5;
  • THENEST: 4 out of 5;
  • LASUITE: 3.5 out of 5.

In practical terms:

  • choose NIMBUS for an initial feel between balanced and firm and the firmest support in the range;
  • choose THENEST for a balanced initial feel combined with firm support;
  • choose LASUITE for a very soft, enveloping initial feel, thanks in particular to its integrated 5 cm topper, with support between balanced and firm.

A soft initial feel therefore does not mean that a mattress lacks support. These two characteristics should be considered separately.

Is a thicker mattress necessarily firmer?

No. Mattress thickness and firmness are two different characteristics.

Thickness determines how much space is available for the different components of the mattress:

  • comfort foams;
  • transition foams;
  • springs;
  • an integrated topper, depending on the model;
  • reinforcements;
  • cover fabric.

Firmness depends on factors such as the properties of the foams, the resistance of the springs and how the layers are combined. Foam density alone is not enough to determine firmness.

NIMBUS is the thinnest model in the range, yet it provides the firmest initial feel and support.

LASUITE is the thickest model, yet it offers the softest initial feel, particularly thanks to its integrated 5 cm topper.

Does body weight affect mattress choice?

Yes. Body weight influences how a mattress feels.

A lighter person generally sinks less deeply into the comfort layers, so the mattress may feel firmer to them.

A heavier person compresses the foams and springs more deeply and may therefore experience both the surface feel and deeper layers differently.

For a person weighing under 100 kg +

Weight alone is not enough to identify the ideal model. For someone weighing under 100 kg, comfort preference remains an important factor:

  • NIMBUS for support between firm and very firm;
  • THENEST for a balanced initial feel and firm support;
  • LASUITE for a very soft and enveloping initial feel, thanks in particular to its integrated topper.

Sleeping position, body shape and bed-base type are also important. Maximum weight capacity depends on the exact model: NIMBUS90 supports up to 100 kg, while NIMBUS140 supports up to 200 kg.

For a person weighing over 100 kg +

A thicker mattress such as THENEST or LASUITE provides greater comfort depth. However, thickness alone does not guarantee that it will be better suited to every sleeper.

THENEST offers firmer support than LASUITE: 4 out of 5 compared with 3.5 out of 5. LASUITE prioritises a noticeably softer initial feel, thanks in particular to its integrated 5 cm topper.

Your choice should also take into account:

  • your preferred firmness;
  • how much sink-in you find comfortable;
  • your sleeping position;
  • your body shape;
  • the type of bed base;
  • the number of sleepers;
  • the stated weight capacities of the mattress, bed base and bed frame.

Comfort ratings are not maximum-weight ratings. For reference, maximum supported weights are 100 kg for NIMBUS90, 200 kg for NIMBUS140, 240 kg for THENEST140 and THENEST160, and 280 kg for LASUITE160 and LASUITE180.

For the complete bed, also check the maximum capacity of the bed base and bed frame.

Which mattress should you choose for your sleeping position?

Your sleeping position also affects the type of feel you may prefer. These guidelines should always be adapted to your body shape and personal preferences.

For back sleepers +

Back sleepers often look for a combination of even support and comfortable surface cushioning.

NIMBUS provides the firmest support. THENEST combines a balanced initial feel with firm support. LASUITE provides a more enveloping initial feel, thanks in particular to its integrated topper, with slightly less firm support than the other two models.

For side sleepers +

Side sleepers often appreciate a surface that cushions the shoulders and hips.

THENEST provides a balanced initial feel of 3 out of 5. LASUITE, with an initial feel of 1.5 out of 5 and an integrated 5 cm topper, provides a noticeably softer and more enveloping sensation.

The right choice depends in particular on the level of sink-in you find comfortable.

For stomach sleepers +

Stomach sleepers often prefer to avoid excessive sinking around the pelvis.

NIMBUS and THENEST provide the firmest support in the range, rated at 4.5 and 4 out of 5 respectively. The actual feel will still depend on body shape, weight and bed base.

Which mattress should you choose for a couple?

THENEST and LASUITE are particularly suitable for couples thanks to their pocket-spring construction.

The springs react individually to movement and help reduce the transfer of position changes from one side of the bed to the other.

Choose:

  • THENEST for a balanced initial feel of 3 out of 5 and firm support of 4 out of 5;
  • LASUITE for a very soft initial feel of 1.5 out of 5, thanks in particular to its integrated 5 cm topper, and support of 3.5 out of 5 between balanced and firm.

NIMBUS can also suit two people who prefer firmer support, provided the correct size is chosen and the weight capacity of the complete bed is respected.

Which mattress should you choose for a loft bed?

NIMBUS is the SENHO mattress to prioritise for compatible loft and bunk beds designed for a mattress up to 15 cm thick.

This reduced thickness helps keep the sleeping surface lower. Compatibility must always be confirmed using the dimensions and maximum mattress thickness stated in the bed instructions.

Depending on the size selected, NIMBUS is suitable for SENHO beds including:

  • BROS;
  • DINO;
  • ROZE;
  • MONTANA;
  • DOCKLAND.

THENEST and LASUITE should not be used on a loft bed if their thickness exceeds the maximum permitted mattress height.

If you add PLUME, include the combined thickness of the mattress and topper in your calculation.

NIMBUS, THENEST, LASUITE or PLUME: which should you choose?

Choose NIMBUS if you want a slim mattress with an initial feel of 3.5 out of 5 and particularly firm support of 4.5 out of 5, especially for a compatible loft bed or a bed where mattress height needs to remain limited.

Choose THENEST if you want a 25 cm mattress with a balanced initial feel of 3 out of 5, firm support of 4 out of 5 and the responsiveness of pocket springs.

Choose LASUITE if you want a premium 35 cm mattress with an integrated 5 cm topper, a very soft initial feel of 1.5 out of 5 and support of 3.5 out of 5 between balanced and firm.

Choose PLUME if you want to complement an existing mattress with a separate topper providing a softer comfort layer, rated 2 out of 5 for both initial feel and support, while keeping in mind that the final feel depends on the complete sleep system.

The right choice is the one that best matches your bed, body shape, sleeping position and preferred comfort sensation.

Frequently asked questions about SENHO mattresses and PLUME

What is the difference between NIMBUS, THENEST and LASUITE? +

NIMBUS is a 15 cm foam mattress with an initial feel of 3.5 out of 5 and support of 4.5 out of 5.

THENEST is a 25 cm pocket-spring mattress with a balanced initial feel of 3 out of 5 and firm support of 4 out of 5.

LASUITE is a premium 35 cm mattress combining a 3-zone pocket-spring core with an integrated 5 cm topper containing memory foam and gel memory foam. This construction gives it a noticeably softer and more enveloping initial feel, rated 1.5 out of 5, while maintaining support of 3.5 out of 5.

Does LASUITE have an integrated topper? +

Yes. LASUITE160 and LASUITE180 feature an integrated 5 cm topper built directly into the mattress construction.

This topper contains memory foam and gel memory foam, among other materials. It provides a soft, enveloping initial feel and helps distribute pressure points more evenly.

Unlike PLUME, it is not a separate topper added on top of the mattress. It is an integral part of LASUITE.

Which SENHO mattress is the firmest? +

NIMBUS is the firmest of the three mattresses in both initial feel and support: its initial feel is rated 3.5 out of 5 and its support 4.5 out of 5.

THENEST has an initial feel of 3 out of 5 and support of 4 out of 5. LASUITE has an initial feel of 1.5 out of 5 and support of 3.5 out of 5.

Which SENHO mattress is the softest? +

LASUITE has the softest initial feel of the three mattresses: 1.5 out of 5, between very soft and soft.

This feel is partly created by its integrated 5 cm topper containing memory foam and gel memory foam.

Its support is rated 3.5 out of 5, between balanced and firm. These ratings apply to both LASUITE160 and LASUITE180.

Which SENHO mattress should a couple choose? +

THENEST and LASUITE are particularly suitable for couples thanks to their pocket springs, which help limit the transfer of movement.

Choose THENEST for a balanced initial feel and firm support, or LASUITE for a noticeably softer, more enveloping initial feel, thanks in particular to its integrated 5 cm topper.

Can NIMBUS be used on a standard bed? +

Yes. NIMBUS can be used on a compatible low bed or standard bed base by sleepers looking for a slim mattress with particularly firm support.

Its initial feel is rated 3.5 out of 5 and its support 4.5 out of 5.

Which mattress should you choose for a loft bed? +

NIMBUS is the preferred model for SENHO loft and bunk beds compatible with its 15 cm thickness.

Always follow the dimensions and maximum mattress thickness stated in the bed instructions. If you add a topper, include its thickness in the total sleeping height.

Is a 35 cm mattress necessarily firmer? +

No. LASUITE is the thickest mattress in the range, but it also has the softest initial feel.

Its initial feel is rated 1.5 out of 5 and its support 3.5 out of 5. Its integrated 5 cm topper plays an important role in creating this very soft feel. Thickness alone therefore does not determine firmness.

Which mattress should you choose if you weigh more than 100 kg? +

Body weight alone is not enough to select a model. THENEST and LASUITE provide greater comfort depth because of their thickness, but their feel differs: THENEST provides support of 4 out of 5, compared with 3.5 out of 5 for LASUITE.

Check the weight capacity of the mattress, bed base and bed frame, then consider your body shape, sleeping position and preferred firmness. Comfort ratings are not weight limits.

What maximum weight can SENHO mattresses support? +

Maximum supported weight depends on the model:

  • NIMBUS90: 100 kg;
  • NIMBUS140: 200 kg;
  • THENEST140: 240 kg;
  • THENEST160: 240 kg;
  • LASUITE160: 280 kg;
  • LASUITE180: 280 kg.

For a complete bed, also check the maximum weight capacity of the bed base and bed frame. The lowest capacity among the components should always be respected.

What is the difference between the integrated LASUITE topper and PLUME? +

The 5 cm topper built into LASUITE forms part of the mattress construction and contributes to its very soft, enveloping initial feel.

PLUME, on the other hand, is a separate 5.3 cm topper that can be placed on an existing mattress to make its surface feel softer.

PLUME does not replace a mattress and cannot correct a sagging mattress.

What is the PLUME topper for? +

PLUME adds a soft comfort layer to an existing mattress.

PLUME90, PLUME140 and PLUME160 are rated 2 out of 5 for both initial feel and support. However, the support of the complete sleep system depends on the mattress and bed base underneath.

PLUME does not replace a mattress and cannot correct a sagging mattress.
